Following on from last week's blog about the newly designed Jenny K Home bird fabric delivery, you can see this high quality 100% cotton fabric has been transformed into a beautiful handmade bird cushion. The inspiration for this design came from the idea that you're looking up at a flock of budgies or birds, as they gently flutter up into the sky. Suspended in motion, this cushion is ideal to add to any traditional style interior in need of a modern twist or a few feathered friends!
Each bird has started life as a drawing, then tweaked to its full potential to really show-off that pattern. The birds have a blue body in various tones with black stripes around the neck and head.
This bird in flight cushion has been carefully created from a unique fabric, designed by Jenny K Home and handmade in the UK. The design is part of a growing family of budgie bird cushion covers, however it's more closely related to the Budgie in Flight Symmetry pattern cushion (pictured further below).
Styled for a vintage interior, this budgie cushion fits perfectly with its sister design on a rustic couch or traditional chair. See how well the blue and white cushions complement and also contrast with the tartan throw.
The reverse of this cushion is plain white fabric, 100% cotton. This zipped budgie cushion cover allows easy access for washing and changing out the cushion filler. As this budgie cushion is handmade, there may be a few minor differences between cushions. This budgie cushion has been handmade in the UK.
